Passenger safety is our primary concern. The chauffeur industry is heavily regulated but this does not stop rogue businesses from operating illegally. Check the following;

Operators Licence

All Private Hire Operators MUST be licenced through a Local Authority and confirmation of all such licences issued by Local Authorities are a matter of public record. Private Hire Chauffeurs Drivers Licence

Issued by the Local Authority following driver testing and enhanced DBS checks. All Executive Chauffeur Transfer work is undertaken by a fully-vetted driver who will be wearing a Badge Licence as a lanyard on first greeting.

Private Hire Chauffeur Vehicle Licence

Issued by the Local Authority after stringent checks as confirmation that the vehicle is fully compliant with all safety standards. This licence is displayed in the form of a disc on the front windscreen of the vehicle and additionally provides confirmation that the vehicle is operating under a plate dispensation i.e. without a council plate to the rear of the vehicle or door livery on the side. This also differentiates the Operator from a standard taxi transfer and provides clients with a more discreet service

Chauffeur Insurance

All Operators of vehicles carrying passengers for hire or reward must have in place Public Liability Insurance cover to circa 5 million GBP. The validity of such insurance is maintained via the Local Council and is a prerequisite for a current valid Operators Licence. Passengers should be wary of businesses that cannot or will not provide a link to their Local Authority Operator Licence database.
